Giulia & Alessandra

We're Giulia and Alessandra, two Italian women living in Melbourne, Australia who built Colour Analysis Studio with a scientific, honest and credentialed approach.

Giulia holds an Advanced Diploma in Design from the European Institute of Design in Rome and trained in Colour Analysis at the Italian Image Institute of Milan. She brings a background working for a major international broadcaster in Rome, allowing her to lead the content and design side of the business.

Alessandra holds a PhD in Chemistry and trained in Colour Analysis at the Academy of Professional Image in Australia, bringing her expertise to the teaching, feedback, and human side of the work.

Everything you
need to know

Will I be ready to charge clients?
Yes, you'll be ready to charge clients because you'll know everything we know. That's exactly what we're preparing you for. You'll learn a structured professional method, practise on real models, and develop the skills and tools to confidently offer colour analysis services, both online and in person. You need experience before starting but this is where our experience becomes your advantage. Through 32 carefully selected real models, you'll build your own reference library of clients, colour reactions, and seasonal profiles, learning to recognise patterns and make accurate decisions using the techniques we've developed over years of professional experience.
Are drapes included? What about other tools?
No, physical drapes are not included. You'll receive our professional DIGITAL drapes, the Masterfile to perform online analysis and 16 seasonal palettes. Physical drapes and studio equipment are not included, but we'll show you what to look for, what you actually need, and where to find it.
Is the course self-paced or live?
The course is fully pre-recorded and on-demand, so you can study from anywhere in the world, whenever it suits you. Pause, rewatch, and practise at your own pace, even alongside a full-time job. Your 30-day post-course Q&A support is also entirely online and written, with no live sessions or scheduled appointments required.
Will I receive a certificate?
You'll receive a Certificate of Completion. Unlike professions such as architecture, medicine, or accounting, colour analysis is not regulated by a single international governing body. As a result, there is no universal certification that is officially recognised worldwide. Instead, professional certifications are recognised based on the reputation, experience, and methodology of the training provider, as is common with creative professions.
Is the course worth the investment?
Absolutely! Consider that in-person consultations are typically priced between AUD $200 and $500 per session. You could recover your course investment in just a handful of consultations, while building a professional skill that can generate income for years to come.
What do I need to start working as a colour analyst?
We'll guide you through the practical essentials of starting your own service, from choosing the right lighting and equipment to sourcing professional tools, setting up your studio, and organising your workflow. Learn from our experience and avoid the trial and error we've already been through!
How long will I have access to the course?
You'll enjoy 6 months of course access to study, rewatch lessons, and practise at your own pace. Once you've completed the course and after the 11th of January 2027, you can activate your 30 days of Q&A support whenever you feel ready, fitting it around your schedule. And the best part? You'll also continue to have ongoing access to The Studio Hub, a collection of student questions, expert answers, and valuable learning resources.
What payment methods do you accept?

What's your Refund policy?
We offer a 24-hour change-of-mind refund period from the time of purchase, provided the student has not started the course. To request a refund, students must email info@colouranalysis.au within 24 hours of purchase.
